frustrated

Yesterday I had an audition with TROMA studios for a new film called Poultrygeist. You may know TROMA from the Toxic Avenger series. Went okay I suppose. I had to sing a song and though it was only my second singing audition I already am starting to feel like an old hand at it.

I've already run into several casting agents as shills trying to sell you their services. It's a part of the business I know. One is affiliated with the guy who ran my acting on film class. The less said about him the better. It was a costly mistake. I sensed it going, in especially after the first class but as I'd committed to him previously I stayed with him and bailed on the film school. Lesson? Trust your instincts even if it means sometimes bailing on a commitment.

8 Minute Madness festival uptown tonight. Sining lessons tomorrow. Tracers audition at the end of the month. I had another audition prospect pop up for Monday but I would have to dance for them... I'm just not quite there yet. Again I should have followed my instincts and found a dance school earlier. I knew this situation would pop-up. Those same instincts are telling me now to find a Stage Combat class. I know I'm going to need it as well.
