sword in stone
I've got an audition Thursday for a show with the 13th street repertory company. Great news. Was recommended for one role by someone in a class but the director is interested in me for another role after hearing my voice. I do that announcer voice thing. I am a natural bass baritone after all.
Tracers audition next Sunday, will have to go see if I can find a copy of the play. My personal library can always use another volume in it.
The writing group off shoot of the Masters class is off to a nice start. I think it's definitely energized us.
Yesterday was the reading of Jon Crefeld's The Sword Politik a well-written interesting play set in early Christian Germany. Nice bits of humor throughout. You're never sure exactly how it's going to end as the main characters arc could easily go almost any way. It was an interesting experience and I'll definitely have to go check it out once it's put up in August. I read a role in the play but I'm not exactly right for any of the roles in it.
